Tuesday already...
I had the most lovely 4 day weekend a girl could ask for. Last Wednesday around noon I decided that I didn’t think I wanted to come in on Thursday… or Friday for that matter. Luckily, I have a few people at the office that can take over on a whim.
I stayed home with the cats, cleaned a bit, unpacked a lot, made 3 dozen cupcakes from my new Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World cook book.
I’ve been watching a few new television series. 2 of them are ending shortly… so i need a few new ones. I’ve been trying to get into The Riches, Pushing Daisies and the X-Files.
Today on site the crew is getting filmed for a 3M video about cleaning and lining watermains. I should have put some make-up on.

First family photo since the critters moved in.
Abby is in the middle. If there was a sound option… you would hear growling.

Wow, great weekend!
Friday:
- Adam worked the door at the Jimmy Swift Band show. I did not join him. Instead…
- I met up with my long lost friends Chris Lavigne and Alex Walsh. Alex had to work until 9pm, so Chris and I shopped a little and then the three of us went to Montana’s for dinner.
Saturday
- Nicole moved out
- Battle Cat and Gideon moved in.
- Abby Cat is pissed.
- All of Green had their CD release at A Khord. It was a really great time! I bought their record and have been listening to it all day long. Good band, Great recording.
Sunday
- The lady at Vito’s gave Adam and I a $10 Gift Certificate. Last Sunday, Adam and I waited 10 minutes (maybe more like 15) for someone to bring us a menu and take our order. Heck we would have been happy if someone had brought us even a glass of water. But they didn’t, We left, and went somewhere else to eat. It was super sweet of the lady to give us a gift card, though.
- Brad moved in.
- Abby is still pissed.
Friday. Woo Hoo!
(11:17am, 4/10)
Not bad, considering it was 6:00pm yesterday when we hit this monumental milestone.
Plans for the weekend are few.
- Adam is working the door for the Jimmy Swift Band show tonight.
- Tomorrow Aimee and Cory are coming from PEI to drop off their cats and hang out.
- The All of Green CD release show is tomorrow night at A Khord. I’m so excited for their album.
- Alex Gamble is coming down for the weekend for sweet hangouts.
- Brad moves in on Sunday.
- …?
Adam and I went to see Jason Collett last night. Holy moly he is so handsome. I like his voice a lot… very country. Rebekah Higgs opened (not really a fan) and ended up singing “Hangover Days” with Jason during his set. Matt Pearn met me there, after a delicious dinner at the snooty fox.
The bass player for the band played a viola bass, with the prettiest headstock I’ve ever seen.
