Potential Roommate

So I posted an add on kijiji, facebook and giraffecycle for a potential roommate. I have this great apartment on Pitt Street… but only so much money. Nicole “lives” here now, but has recently decided to get a new apartment with her boyfriend, Blair. I guess I can understand not wanting to pay rent at two places. 

She told me that she would pay for her bedroom until I found someone to move in. This is good, considering my list of “please do this”, “don’t do this”, “I like this and you better too”, “no nickelback allowed” rules kind of makes finding a roommate that isn’t crazy very, very difficult. 

SO TONIGHT, BIG NEWS

I log onto facebook after Adam had been internet-ing for awhile. A guy a went to high school with, Brad, had sent me a message basically saying “I live with my parents and I’m not really into it… the internet tells me you’re looking for a roommate”. 

YES!

YES!

A MILLION TIMES, YES!

I actually like Brad. I don’t remember him being crazy (which is a bonus). He has a job. He’s OK (weird) with me having 3 cats (again, a story for another day). 

This could be a match made in roommate heaven.
